Executive coaching for people
who have actually run something.
The difference between theory-based executive coaching and coaching from someone who has been in the seat built a business, managed people at scale, and been on both sides of the pressure equation.
What is executive coaching?
Who is it for?
Executive coaching is structured coaching for senior leaders, executives, and business owners, focused on performance, decision-making, leadership, and personal sustainability at the top of an organisation.
It differs from general coaching in its focus on organisational complexity, leadership identity, and the particular pressure that comes with being the person others look to for answers. The best executive coaches have either operated at that level themselves, or have deep experience of the dynamics involved.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Senior leaders and executives who are performing at a high level but carrying the invisible weight that comes with leadership responsibility. People who make significant decisions, manage others, and rarely have a genuinely safe space to think out loud.
Also: business owners who’ve built to a point where the demands of the business have outgrown the personal framework that got them there.
Real experience.
Not theory from the outside.
Steve’s executive coaching draws directly on his own experience building and leading a £20 million business. He has been in the seat, the sleepless nights, the staff decisions, the pressure of carrying a business on your back while presenting certainty to everyone around you. Sessions focus on real leadership challenges, decision-making under pressure, sustainable performance, and identity as a leader.
“I don’t trade in motivation or easy answers. I work with people who are already capable, already successful and ready to stop pretending the quiet discomfort they feel isn’t worth paying attention to.”

Frequently asked questions.
How is executive coaching different from leadership training?
Leadership training teaches skills and frameworks to a group. Executive coaching is individual, personalised, and focused on your specific situation, decisions, and development. Training is broadcast; coaching is a conversation.
Do I need to be struggling to benefit from executive coaching?
No. The most effective executive coaching often happens when things are going well, helping you sustain and build on performance before problems develop, not after they’ve become critical.
How often are sessions?
Typically twice a month for ongoing engagement, or weekly for higher-intensity periods. The rhythm is built around your situation, not a fixed schedule.
Is executive coaching confidential?
Yes, completely. What happens in sessions stays in sessions regardless of whether the engagement is employer-sponsored or self-funded.
